- Jim Northrup, an Anishinaabe poet (Native American) who lives in Northern Minnesota, has written many terrific poems and is a great storyteller. I really like his narrative style. I found some audio files of his (hopefully you have RealPlayer or whatever program needed to listen, my apologies if you don't) on American Radio Works/Public Radio. Here are 3 I especially liked.
